Yep, the summer is over but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. We have been busy planning various events for the next year to ensure that arts provision is still our top priority in education.
We have three events already planned for the coming months for both our members and teachers.
The first is our safeguarding training. This is open to current members. One of the requirements for being a member of the Network as one of our Artists is that you hold up to date safeguarding training. This ensures those contacting us about our members know that we put safeguarding high on the priorities.
Later in October we will be holding a Network Tea. This first networking session of the academic year will give Network members the chance to talk to other members about their work, building on the collaborations that were talking about at our event in the summer and also feed into the committee as to what you as members would like for this coming year and beyond. It is important for members to be able to have a platform in which they can voice their ideas to enable the Network to grow and this is your opportunity to do it. For those of you who haven't yet joined the network there will be application forms available for you to sign up on the day.
In November our first Teacher Taster session will take place and we would like teachers and artists to come along to share skills and good practice. These were very popular last year and give a great opportunity for teachers to see what our artists have to offer.
For more information on how to book places at any of our events please check out the Upcoming Events page.
We look forward to meeting and working with as many of you as possible this year.
